A hero of creating the 'first village free of illiteracy' in Bangladesh

After gaining independence through a bloody war, the youth of Thakurgaon jumped into another war. It is a fight for literacy, a fight to build an illiterate free village. In that war, Kachubari-Krashtapur village of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila was recognized as the first illiterate-free village in the country. Even after four decades of that achievement, the people of the district could not be enlightened by the light of the first illiterate village.
How Success Comes: There is no substitute for education to move a war-torn nation forward. Therefore, the light of education should be spread from house to house - after such an initiative of the government, the movement to make Kachubari Kristapur village illiterate started. Mokhed Ali led the movement. 24 men and women including Abdul Khalek, Riazul Islam, Rameza Khatun, Afazuddin, Abdul Jabbar, Hasibul Haque joined him.
At the beginning of the movement, they marched in the village and said, "Tipsai Chi Chi, write Sikh names". Later, the men eat the crops and the women sitting by the hearth are taught to write their names as well as A, A... A, B.
The children of the village told the officials of various offices in the city that if anyone in their village wants to give tips, they should take 'naksai' (nakkhat) from him. Later, to escape the humiliation of 'Naksai', the elders went to the village education center and said, 'Babare naam kheta shikhaye de'. Finally, after three months of hard work, the village became illiterate.
